How does referral to the programme happen?
Referral can only take place via contact with an Open Door & Disabilty Practitioner and with consent of the student to make the referral. This will be discussed in more detail when the student attends an Open Door & Disability appointment.
The student must have attended at least one appointment in order to be considered for referral to the programme. Once a referral has been made, the York Sport lead person will make email contact with the student to set up induction onto the programme.
What is expected of the participating student?
It is important that you are keen to engage with the programme and are committed to trying to get what you wish to out of it.
You should be prepared to respond to emails from the Open Door & Disability practitioner.
